Magic ~

First, please keep in mind that Crumorn has used magic his whole life. He had tutors, mentors, teachers and he also learned a lot by old tomes and simple trial and error.

Crumorn is STRONG character, but NOT unbeatable. However don't expect that some random 12 year old villager will be able to beat him.

Black/death magics and necromancy - This branch of magic is what Crumorn excels with. While usually not using necromancy (it is bit impractical) he stuck in black magics. He studies rituals, creates new spells and learns old, already existing spells. Black magics usually either curses or maims the opponent if the spell hits, but they can be also used to enchant casters physical strengths. They usually need some sort of sacrifice to fuel them.

Elemental spellsFire/water/earth/wind. His strongest element is fire and weakest is wind. However Crumorn finds elemental spells to be hard to control and they need lots of magic to sustain them, which is why spells meant to create hurricanes and earthquakes are out of his league. Every element takes some sort of emotion to fuel them. Fire needs anger, passion. Water needs inner turmoil but also inner strenght. Earth wants calmness, patience and Wind prefers playfulness, fondness.

Healing spells - As name suggests he can heal others with his magic, though he isn't very good with this branch of magic. Anything bigger than small stab wounds are too much for him, as he doesn't really have any uses for this type of spells.

Barriers - Crumorn can create a protective barrier with his magic, but it is relatively weak and doesn't last very long. Can last couple of low caliber bullets but that's it

Telekinesis - Can levitate/throw/stop things without touching them. While throwing a chair is easy, throwing a car or keeping something as heavy as himself on the air is very draining. Cannot raise/throw anything bigger than a normal car, however he can shove bigger things with short but strong burst

Teleportation - Can 'teleport' trough mirrors (any size). As long as he has a mirror he can walk in to it and walk out from another as long as Crumorn has been there before (= knows how the place looks, where another mirror is). That's why Crumorn usually carries hand-mirrors with him, as they are easy way out.

Physically Crumorn is not anything impressive. He is not super strong or fast, nor he doesn't have super senses. However there is some things he can do very well.

As stated above he had dedicated his life to magic - learning and practicing it. Crumorn has done some rituals to make sure he lives until finally ruling the world. Practicing the darkest of black magics Crumorn finally found ritual to make himself immortal. He cannot die - or at least not stay dead. Burn him, drown him, shoot him or stab him - they mostly just slow him down until his inhuman healing kicks in. Stab wound doesn't take many hours to heal, but i.e losing a limb may take days. He can fall unconscious (hard hit to his head, blood loss, extreme physical trauma), and his healing can be slowed.

Crumorn is also able to store and draw magic inside his daughter Anya. So basically Crumorn is more powerful when near Anya since he can use more magic without exhausting himself. He can do this only because he is related to her. This wouldn't work with complete stranger.

Crumorn is good at noticing things, and the tactics are his forte. His eyes are trained to notice small hidden expressions, traps and mistakes. While he is very good at this - it doesn't mean he doesn't make mistakes. Crumorn does have very good control over his magic too - which is necessary for him as well, since most of his destructive spells takes lots of juice to work and his stamina is not limitless.

There is many ways to beat Crumorn. Some are more simple than others, some then again more morbid that others.
Crumorn can fall unconscious like other humans, he can be drugged or poisoned too and while he cannot die to the poisons, he can very much be weakened by them. Crumorn can be locked up in rooms (just make sure there is no mirrors and that room can stand elements - so wooden house may not be the best place to lock him into) and you can make him to stay in there.

Now, if you are thinking 'I want more permanent way to get rid of him' - well, you are in the right place.

Now things gets a bit bloody. If you cut Crumorn's head off and bury his body in ground - so that his head rests behind his legs - Crumorn cannot move or heal. He will be stuck below the ground until someone moves either his head or his body. His body will start rotting, until there is only bones left. Those however wont start decaying.

If you hold physically Crumorn's heart you can order Crumorn around - and he must follow your orders whatever he wants it or not. However - there is lots of loopholes. "You don't have permission to kill me" - well it still leaves the permission to steal the heart back, or Crumorn can  hire an assassin after you, so you should be careful how long you want to keep the heart. As soon as you lose it ... well I'm sure Crumorn won't be your best friend. Orders stick only as long as you keep his heart in your person. You don't need to hold it in your hands - it's enough that you carry it with you.

This also has a small time limit. After his heart is removed from his chest; it starts to rot. In a same way if you held an animal's inner organ in your person. After about ~1-2 months it becomes so rotten, that Crumorn's body doesn't recognize it as his own organ and so he grows a new heart; which removes your ability to control him.

Crumorn in not very good swimmer, and he is not huge fan of small, closed places where is no way to out. While he's not claustrophobic, he gets anxious and restless.

If Crumorn uses too much magic in a short time, he gets fatigued. More he uses the worse he will feel. It goes from minor fatigue (out of breath, sweat, nausea) to even stages that includes fainting and short term coma.

Most animals hates him (there is this smell of death around him) - and that's why Crumorn usually doesn't go near bigger animals like horses or cows. Some humans can also  instinctively feel that there is something wrong near Crumorn.
