This is Fauns original look ▸When not hiding behind glamours,  you can clearly see what makes Faun basically half-undead. Blackened bone structures, white gleaming teeth and black scleras makes his visage quite haunting to look at.

It's not too often Faun can enjoy being without glamours, so he relishes those moments, however he also relishes the intimidation factor his natural look gives him - which his glamoured look quite lacks.

As the name implies, Fauns glamoured look uses magic to give him more human-like look ▸This is the look Faun has to wear most of the time. The soft boyish look doesn't come out looking very intimidating and is thus perfect for gathering information and looking harmless.

The darker markings on his skin are actually very magic conductive; while that wasn't the intended feature (more of a dead skin and flesh; forced alive again in birth, but it never regained the healthy pigment) Faun uses this to store excess magic; which he then uses to uphold his glamour other magical feats he needs some extra power.

After copious use of magic

More Faun uses magic, more it brings out his undead nature ▸There is practically no changes if the magic use is moderate and not he has remaining magical reserves. However if the magical reserves starts to near the end, Faun starts automatically drain energy from the nearby flora and in some cases; fauna. This is not conscious decision and Faun cannot stop it himself either (despite trying). This draining refreshes his magic, but also brings forth his undead nature more than usually. Flora that's energy get drained usually wither away and dies. Fauna however varies; only smaller creatures feel this effect, but only to the level of feeling heavy fatigue.

Having this undead nature on surface affects Fauns rational thinking and instincts. He might be magically more powerful, but also gains weaknesses most undead has as well.
